Combating childhood obesity is the theme of the third annual State of Health Luncheon hosted by the Conway Regional Women’s Council.
The luncheon is planned 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 13, in Childers Dining Hall at Central Baptist College. It will include a discussion of childhood obesity and a report card on local health issues.
Lisa Martin, A.P.N. with the Conway Children’s Clinic, and Jim Lambert, president and chief executive officer for Conway Regional Health System, will be the featured speakers.
Reserved tables of eight are available for $250. General public tickets are also available, with a discount for women’s council members. Space is limited.
The 2015 State of Health Luncheon — presented as a part of the Conway Regional Women’s Council program series — will kick off a yearlong focus on childhood wellness.
