High school football is well under way and 501 LIFE has your Friday night scores.
“Throughout the fall, we will be providing scores from many games in the 501,” said editor/publisher Sonja J. Keith. “We have recruited correspondents from a variety of teams throughout our area to supply scores and updates during the evening that are posted on our website (501 Scoreboard under 501 Football section) and through our Twitter account.”
At the end of the evening, there is a final recap of scores.
The 501 Scoreboard offers football fans an opportunity to stay abreast of their favorite high school team or neighboring teams.
“The interest in our scoreboard has been phenomenal and continues to grow,” Keith said. “We want to thank those who are helping us provide this service. Many are parents of our 501 Football Team players or individuals just interested in supporting their local team.” (Individuals interested in helping provide the service should email [email protected].)
In addition to the 501 Scoreboard, photos from high school games are shared on the 501 website and Facebook page.
“Football is a fun sport that involves so many in the 501 – from the players, cheerleaders and bands to the parents and friends of those involved.”
