08 Nov 2020 Central Baptist College announces priority scholarship deadline for fall 2021

High school seniors and transfer students who will be attending CBC for the Fall 2021semester have until Dec. 10 to meet the requirements for the priority scholarship deadline. Students meeting this deadline will be eligible to receive the best scholarship awards of the year. To be eligible for the priority scholarship deadline, students must complete the following by the deadline:

  • Apply for admission at cbc.edu/apply
  • Submit transcript(s)
  • Submit ACT, SAT, or Accuplacer test scores
  • Complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) at studentaid.gov

Students that complete these steps will be automatically qualified to receive a scholarship award package. On average, CBC freshmen receive $9,947 towards the cost of tuition, fees, room and board (meal plan). This average amount is made up of CBC institutional scholarships, state aid, and federal grants, not including student loans.

“We work hard to keep the cost of attending Central Baptist College affordable so that as many students as possible can experience the special Christ-centered college environment we offer,” said President Terry Kimbrow. According to Ryan Johnson, Vice President for Enrollment Management, “CBC is $13,000 less than the average to attend a 4-year private institution in the state of Arkansas and nearly $25,000 less than the average to attend a 4-year private institution in the United States.” Johnson encourages prospective students and their families to visit cbc.edu/cost for more information on CBC’s cost before scholarships are applied.
