The University of Central Arkansas’s Reynolds Performance Hall will hold the Celtic Angels Christmas show at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 12.

Celtic Angels Christmas was produced in Ireland. It is a family-friendly show that will capture audiences by encompassing vocal and instrumental seasonal favorites alongside Irish, contemporary and original Christmas themes, just with a Celtic twist to it.

Attendees will hear “Ding Dong Merrily on High” performed as a toe-tapping instrumental reel, “In Dulci Jubilo” as an Irish jig and other Christmas music from across the centuries, presented by some of Ireland’s finest performers.

Celtic Angels Christmas features vocal quintet Victoria Kenny, Emily Carroll, Tammy Browne, Amy Penston and Laura Mullane, who all hail from Ireland. They have performed in musicals such as “West Side Story,” “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” and “Grease” in Ireland and the West End of London.

Combined with the stunning dance routines of the Celtic Knight dancers — and featuring former Riverdance lead dancers Patrick O’Mahoney and Blaine Donovan — this family show is a true holiday celebration of Christmas in Ireland.

A portion of the proceeds from the show will benefit the Main Stage EdUCAtion Series, which allows schoolchildren to experience live performing arts at Reynolds Performance Hall. More information may be found at uca.edu/publicappearances/mainstage/.
