Celebrating 100 years of CHI St. Vincent Morrilton

CHI St. Vincent Morrilton celebrated 100 years of service on Dec. 3. 

The hospital was started by the Benedictine Sisters at St. Scholastica Monastery in 1925 in the Burrow family’s private home.

During the Great Depression, the people of Conway County scraped together the money for the first hospital to be built after their funding fell through.

The community has been supporting the hospital through its updates and new facilities since. Mayor Allen Lipsmeyer declared Dec. 3 CHI St. Vincent Morrilton Day.
