CBC releases 2026 Softball schedule

CONWAY — Coming off a trip to the NAIA Opening Round in San Antonio, Texas, Central Baptist College head softball coach Keith Hinson has announced the 2026 schedule for the Mustang softball team. The 50-game schedule includes three tournaments and 11 doubleheaders in front of home fans at City of Colleges Park.

“We have scheduled some good teams,” said Hinson. “We are going back to Louisiana and Gulf Shores where we will get to play several teams inside the top 20, some in the top 10. I am excited for this season and have high expectations.”

The season begins with a trip to Alexandria, La., for the LSU-A Tournament on the final two days of January.

February begins with another trip to La., this time to Pineville for the Louisiana Christian Classic on the sixth and seventh before the first doubleheader of the season on the 13th in Tennessee against Freed-Hardeman. The Mustangs stay in Tenn., the next day for another doubleheader, this time against Bethel before the home opening doubleheader on the 17th against Texas A&M-Texarkana. The final road doubleheader of the month follows as the Mustangs head to Springdale to take on Ecclesia on the 21st before the month ends with home doubleheaders against Dallas Christian on the 27th and Missouri Valley on the 28th.

March begins with the Gulf Coast Invitational in Alabama on the sixth and seventh followed by a home doubleheader against Wiley on the 10th. Ecclesia makes the return trip to Conway on the 20th before CBC opens American Midwest Conference play on the 27th against Williams Baptist. The final doubleheader of the month follows the next day against Crowley’s Ridge.

April opens with a pair of conference road double dips against Harris-Stowe and UHSP on the third and fourth before a return home for Senior Weekend on the 10th and 11th against Stephens and Hannibal-LaGrange. The final three road doubleheaders follow as CBC makes a trip to Clarksville to take on University of the Ozarks on the 14th followed by the final two conference matchups against Columbia on the 17th and Cottey on the 18th. The conference slate wraps up with a home doubleheader against Mission on the 21st before the final home matches of the season against Evangel on the 24th. The AMC Tournament will be contested this season from the 28th-May 2nd at the new Branson Softball Complex in Branson, Mo. Times for every game are listed on cbcmustangs.com.
