08 Jan 2025 CBC never trails in AMC win over Crowley’s Ridge
CONWAY — Playing for the first time in 2025, #13 Central Baptist College men’s basketball hosted the Pioneers of Crowley’s Ridge College tonight for the first time as an American Midwest Conference rival inside A.R. Reddin Fieldhouse. #13 CBC (12-3, 6-0 AMC) never trailed, leading by as many as 30, and saw the score only tied once, cruising to a 90-64 win over CRC (9-6, 3-2 AMC).
Four players scored double figures led by Brian Alexander, who had a career-high 19 points off the bench. The defense was the name of the game for the Mustangs, as they held the Pioneers to just 37 percent shooting from the field and forced 19 turnovers, which they converted into 20 points.

- Alexander eclipsed his previous career-high of 14 points, accomplished against Philander Smith on 11/30/24
- Wade Williams finished with 18 points
- Jonas Carlisle chipped in with 11 points
- Sage Borbon had 10 points
- Daquarius Harris grabbed a team leading nine rebounds
- Gabe Johnson handed out a team-best seven assists
- CBC made 13 threes and grabbed 43 rebounds while committing just 11 turnovers and blocking nine shots
