CLARKSVILLE — Running for the final time before the American Midwest Conference meet next month, Central Baptist College cross country was on course Oct. 12 at Clarksville High School for the University of the Ozarks Invitational. Mackenzie Milligan and Bay Davis competed in the women’s event, and Chris Palmer and Josh Brown ran the men’s event.

Milligan crossed the line in the 5K with a time of 26:28 flat and Davis crossed the finish line in 29:04.5. Palmer broke his own 8K record, finishing in eighth place, the top NAIA competitor, with a new program record time of 27:38.2, beating the record he previously marked by nearly two minutes. Brown finished the 8K in a time of 42:40.6.

The Mustangs run for the final time this season on Nov. 8, when they compete in the American Midwest Conference Championship at the Hannibal Cross Country Course in Missouri.
