29 Jul 2016 CBC announces promotions, additions
Central Baptist College recently announced several promotions and staff additions.
J.D. Gray has been named director of development for CBC. Gray had previously served as a development officer at CBC. Gray’s responsibilities include working with the president and vice president for advancement to plan and promote the financial development of the college.
Gray will supervise the CBC Annual Fund and will serve as the primary contact for the Mustang Club and Mustang Club Board.
Gray comes to CBC after spending one season as a direct sales representative for ticket development with the St. Louis Cardinals. Prior to joining the Cardinals organization, he was the assistant for ticketing, operations and marketing for the University of Central Arkansas athletics.
Gray holds a master of science in college student personnel administration from the University of Central Arkansas, as well as a bachelor of science in business administration, management and marketing from Arkansas Tech University.
He is a member of Springhill Baptist Church in Greenbrier and is a son of Michael and Donna Gray. He will be a sideline reporter for Y107 and the Conway High Wampus Cat Football team in the fall. He will assume his duties at CBC on Thursday, Sept. 1.
Amy Reed has been named annual fund officer at Central Baptist College. Reed most recently served as the director of enrollment for non-traditional programs at CBC. Reed came to CBC from First Security Bank where she was a business development officer. She is a 2015 graduate of the CBC PACE program with a degree in leadership and ministry.
As annual fund officer, Reed will be responsible for developing relationships with CBC’s donors to increase the level of support to annual giving and campus wide fundraising efforts. Reed will begin her position on Sept. 1.
Reed is a member of the Conway Regional Medical Center Women’s Council, the Women’s Inc Advisory Board, a Dazzle Daze committee member, a Lions Club board member and is a member of the Renewal Ranch Marketing Team. Reed and her husband reside in Conway along with their two children where they are members of Second Baptist Church.
Jessica Faulkner has been named director of campaign activities at CBC. Faulkner most recently served as director of special events at Central Baptist College. Faulkner earned a bachelor of arts degree in fine arts and communications from the University of Central Arkansas.
In her new role, Faulkner will be responsible for implementing the capital campaign for CBC. Faulkner is a member of the Conway Kiwanis Club where she currently serves on the board of directors. She is also a Faulkner County Leadership Institute board member and graduate. Faulkner and her husband, Daniel, have a daughter and are members of Antioch Baptist Church.
Britni Elder has been hired as director of human resources at CBC. She will work under the direction of the VP Finance to develop sound, effective, well-documented and readily understood human resource policies and procedures.
Elder received a bachelor of arts degree in communications from Arkansas State University and a master of business administration from the University of Phoenix. She comes to CBC from New Life Church Human Resources Department.
Elder is a member of New life Church in Conway where she serves as a life group leader and a mission’s leader. She currently serves on the board of directors for Deliver Hope. Elder and her husband, Steve, reside in Conway along with their three children.
Blake Forrest has been hired as a personal admissions officer at CBC. Forrest is a 2015 graduate of CBC with a bachelor of science degree in Bible with a minor in youth ministry.
Forrest, a native of Searcy, has been very active with the youth and music ministry in his home church of West Race Baptist Church in Searcy. As a student at CBC, Forrest has been involved with the CBC Ministerial Alliance and the CBC Chapel Band.
Forrest has also been active at Antioch Baptist Church where he is a member. At Antioch, Forrest works with the middle school ministry and Perspective, the college age ministry.
Lacie Mayo has been named the Mustang Outfitters manager. Mayo previously worked in the CBC Admissions Office as a personal admissions officer.
As Mustang Outfitters manager, Mayo will plan, direct, coordinate and supervise the operations of the Mustang Outfitters campus store.
Mayo is a 2013 CBC graduate with a bachelor of science degree in psychology and social services. Mayo is involved in a college ministry called Mayo Mondays at CBC. Mayo and her husband, Michael, are members of The Bible Church in Little Rock.
