11 Dec 2023 CARTI Urology continues growth with two new experts
LITTLE ROCK – CARTI Urology is expanding its team in response to increasing patient requests for its comprehensive urologic services. With the addition of Ron Kuhn, M.D. and Taylor Moore, M.D., the department’s providers now include five expert urologists and two nurse practitioners. Dr. Kuhn will see patients at CARTI Urology in North Little Rock. Dr. Moore will be based at the CARTI Cancer Centers in Little Rock and Pine Bluff.
“When patients ask for CARTI, they know they’ll receive trusted and compassionate care, including for cancer and non-cancer related urologic conditions,” said Adam Head, president and CEO. “We are excited to add Drs. Kuhn and Moore to our growing roster of urologic experts as we meet the rising need for these services.”
Dr. Kuhn brings nearly 30 years of urologic experience to CARTI, specializing in minimally invasive laparoscopic and robotic surgeries. He received his medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS), where he also completed his residency in urology. He is a graduate of Rhodes College and certified by the American Board of Urology.
Dr. Moore has practiced in Arkansas for nearly a decade, during which he’s spearheaded numerous urology-focused clinical trials. A graduate of UAMS, he completed his residency in urology and an internship in general surgery. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Lyon College and is certified by the American Board of Urology.
CARTI’s urologic specialists treat stones of the ureter, kidney and genitourinary; prostate, impotence and erectile dysfunction; Peyronie’s Disease; epididymitis; orchitis; female-related urological issues; and cancer-related conditions of the bladder, testicles, kidney and prostate, including through surgery.
