The Caring Cats Club at Conway High School recently held its annual powder puff game to raise money for the 501 LIFE/Community Foundation of Faulkner County hunger campaign and Special Olympics.
The game featured a team of senior girls playing against a team of sophomores and juniors at John McConnell Stadium.
Members of the powder puff court — selected to represent different groups and clubs on campus — raised money, with Trey Hickey raising the largest amount and crowned king. Members of the court dressed as a food item for the game to raise awareness about the hunger campaign.
Also at the game, the Faulkner County Sheriff’s Office and the Conway Fire Department competed in a tug-of-war contest, which was won by the sheriff’s office.
