27 Oct 2014 CAPAA to present Halloween activities for kids of all ages
Central Arkansas is in for a hair-raising good time on Thursday, Oct. 30 at The Central Arkansas Performing Arts Academy and Children’s Theater in Cabot.
Presented by the theater’s young performers, this ghastly event features broom-riding actors, a haunted hayride with funny zombies, pumpkin painting, a bouncy house, bake sale, kids Halloween show with CAPAA’s show choir singing songs like “This is Halloween” and “Purple People Eater” and a scary play by the young acting classes. (Appropriate for all ages)
For older goblins, starting at 8:30 p.m., the “Haunted Theater Tours” are available. “This is theater at its best,” said Danelle Hoffer, executive director of CAPAA. “The kids are helping to design the haunted tours and the idea came from very vivid young artists’ imaginations. We believe in letting imaginations soar, creating an interactive, scary, fun, exhilarating experience that everyone can enjoy on this fun night. Our event has something for all ages and everyone in the community is invited.”
