“We played to a full house last month, and I could not have been more pleased with our performance,” he said.

Rehearsals for the current Season will begin Monday, Feb. 6, and are held from 6-7 p.m. each Monday in the choir room of Woodland Heights Baptist Church, Prince Street and Hogan Lane.

The 2012 spring concert is scheduled for May 1. Accompanist for the group is Paul Bradley. Assistant directors include Dr. Greg Murry and Jim Loyd.

Men of all ages and talent are encouraged to participate, and no previous musical experience is necessary, according to Mike McCullars, president of the group’s board of directors.

“We love to sing, and we love giving back to our community,” he said.

More than 60 men participated in the December concert. Since its inception in 1998, the Chorus has built a solid base of support in the Central Arkansas area, according to McCullars.
