The Conway Alliance for the Arts and the Lantern Theatre will host a fundraising event from 6 to 8 p.m.  Thursday, Aug. 1, which will feature a lively evening of musical performances, readings, short films and live painting.

The event will be held at Fat Daddy’s Bar-B-Que in Downtown Conway. 

The schedule of activities:

Dramatic reading – The Lantern Theatre
Music – Malachi Kirby
Poetry Reading – Terry Wright
Short Films Screening (Films TBA)

Throughout the evening, Jessica Jones will be creating a live painting, which will be auctioned at the end of the event. 

Proceeds from ticket sales and a silent auction during the event will benefit Conway ArtsFest 2019. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for students and free for children ages 12 and younger. Tickets may be purchased online (through Vendini at the Facebook event) or at the door. Food and drink may be purchased from Fat Daddy’s.
