Cabot Roast & Toast April 16

The Cabot Scholarship Foundation’s Roast & Toast Banquet will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 16, in the Cabot Junior High North cafeteria.

The event recognizes students who are receiving scholarships from the foundation.

Tickets are $30 per person and a table of eight is $240. Tickets may be purchased at the Cabot High School office.

This year’s honoree is Jerry Cole, who has lived most of his life in Cabot. He and his wife, Susan, daughter and grandson are all Cabot High School graduates.

Cole was in the service station business for more than three decades. He also worked for the Cabot Water and Street Departments for 10 years until retiring in 2014. He and his wife bred and raised World Champion American Quarter Horses and Paint Horses for more than 30 years.

The Cabot Scholarship Foundation was formed in 1992 by the Cabot Centennial Committee to encourage and recognize academics in Cabot schools. The Roast & Toast Banquet is the foundation’s only fundraising event.

Due to the tremendous growth at Cabot High School, community support is greatly appreciated. Donations are accepted throughout the year at Cabot Scholarship Foundation Inc., 602 N. Lincoln Street, Cabot, Arkansas 72023, Attn: Leann Carlisle.
