10 Aug 2016 Cabot Lions Club plans Memorial Golf Classic
The Cabot Lions Club will once again host its Annual "Memorial" Golf Classic on Monday, Sept. 12, with a “shot gun start” at 1 p.m. The 4-Person Scramble will be held at Cabot’s Rolling Hills Country Club, located on Mount Carmel Road/Highway 321.
Entry forms can be obtained via e-mail at [email protected] or by calling 501.920.2122. Entry fees are $100 per person /$400 per team, which includes greens fees, golf cart, two free mulligans and many door prize opportunities. Additionally, the entry fee includes a steak and baked potato dinner, which will be served immediately following tournament play. Deadline for entry is Wednesday, Sept. 7.
Opportunities are available for corporate sponsors and hole sponsors. Organizers will also accept any item for a door prize.
This year’s tournament is being held in loving memory of Lion Rick Meadows, who loyally served the Cabot community in so many ways from 1984 to 2014. Proceeds raised from this event will go directly toward providing vision screenings, eye exams and the purchase of eyeglasses for local school children and adults in need. The club has provided more than 200 screenings over the past year, which includes day care centers, pre-schools, health fairs and churches.
