25 Jul 2018 Cabot Lions Club planning annual memorial golf classic
The Cabot Lions Club will host its Annual “Memorial” Golf Classic on Monday, Sept. 10, with a shot gun start at 1 p.m. The four-person scramble will be held at Cabot’s Rolling Hills Country Club (located on Mount Carmel Road/Highway 321).
Entry forms are available by emailing [email protected] or by calling 501.920.2122. Entry fees are $100 per person /$400 per team, which includes greens fees, golf cart and two free mulligans. Additionally, the entry fee includes a steak and baked potato dinner, which will be served immediately following tournament play.
Prizes will be presented to the top three teams with additional tournament contest prizes awarded. There will be two hole-in-one contests this year, sponsored by Centennial Bank and Red River Dodge-Jeep. Also, door prizes will be given away (must be present to win).
Deadline for entry is Tuesday, Sept. 4.
This year’s tournament is being held in loving memory of Lion Rick Meadows, who loyally served the Cabot community in so many ways, from 1984 to 2014.
Proceeds raised from this event will go directly toward providing vision screenings, eye exams and the purchase of eyeglasses for local school children and in-need adults. Sponsorships will also be provided to in-need children and adults for vision-saving procedures and surgeries. Assistance is also provided to those who may request life skills training or guide dog training.
Opportunities are now available for sponsors and door prize donations.
