Cabot Christmas Blessing

Junior Auxiliary of Cabot recently presented the second annual Christmas Blessing Charity Auction and Gala.

The semi-formal event included live music by The Monroe County Band, a photo booth by Arkansas’ Best DJ Service, food and a silent auction. Judge Doug Erwin also made an appearance as a live auction auctioneer and Stubby Stumbaugh volunteered as DJ for the evening.

Nearly 30 sponsors made this event possible including platinum sponsors R.D. Hopper for Senate, State Farm – Stephanie May Agency and Unlimited Firearms and Outfitters (UFO).  Proceeds from the evening will be used to purchase clothing, jackets, toys and toiletries for less fortunate children for Christmas.

“This was a wonderful event filled with entertainment, but more importantly, it was a chance to focus on helping children in Cabot. Thanks to the generosity of the community, many kids in our school district will enjoy a blessed Christmas morning when otherwise they may not have had one,” said Melissa Davis, PR chairman.

The Junior Auxiliary of Cabot has 38 active members who dedicated more than 900 community service hours to Cabot in the 2014-2015 year. For more information on Junior Auxiliary of Cabot, visit juniorauxiliaryofcabot.com or email [email protected].
