16 Dec 2017 Bundles of joy born in Unity Health New Life Center
On the sixth day of December, New Life Center nurses and physicians at Unity Health celebrated the births of 12 beautiful babies born within the first week of the month. As a gift to the new parents, the Unity Health Auxiliary presented the babies with a handmade cheery Christmas cap and stocking.
The 12 new bundles of joy included: Jasmine Bentley, Evelyn Deramus, Shiann Gilbert, Kimbry Hancox, Augustus Hankins, Kira Marling, Mason Kenzlee, Jameson Shinnall, Lucy Tarno, Ian Ortiz-Zuniga, Willow Young and Brandon Zarceno-Tetson.
Miracles are delivered daily at the New Life Center with December being the busiest month of the year with an average of 120 babies born during the month, compared to an average of 108 babies born each month from January through November. With nearly 1,200 babies born in the Unity Health New Life Center annually, the center has welcomed thousands of patients, babies and family members over the years.
