Beck named UACCM Alumni of the Year

Adrienne Marie Beck was recently named University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton Outstanding Alumni of the Year.

Her career includes being accepted into the AmeriCorps National Civilian Community Corps (NCCC), fundraising with Heifer International and working with the Arkansas Bureau of Legislative Research.

Beck graduated from UACCM with honors in May 2009.

She received a transfer scholarship to Arkansas Tech University and earned a bachelor’s degree in 2011.

In 2016, she graduated from Brandeis University with a master’s degree. 

In between her bachelor’s and master’s degrees, Beck enrolled in the NCCC.

During that time, she worked with the Boys and Girls Club of America in Farmington, N.M. and in Oklahoma; helped certify and prepare taxes in Denver; performed trail maintenance in Arizona state parks and helped build houses for Habitat for Humanity.
