Bark in the Park, a fundraising event for Service Dogs of Distinction, will be held Saturday, Sept. 9, in the city park in Rose Bud.

The event includes a 1K dog walk, 5K fun run, a training clinic and pet costume contest.

Proceeds benefit the non-profit, which provides service dogs to veterans with PTSD at no cost.
