Blackbird Academy of Art will present Cinderella the Ballet at 7 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 9, and 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 10, at Reynolds Performance Hall at the University of Central Arkansas. This expansive and lighthearted three-act ballet tells the triumphant story of a young girl who encounters magic and love at a dazzling ball. This year, two additional events are being hosted in conjunction with the ballet. On Saturday, adults can join Cinderella’s Glass Slipper Cocktail Party, with proceeds going toward the costs of the Cinderella production. After the matinee performance on Sunday, all ages are welcome to join Cinderella and her friends for a tea party complete with sweets, games and photo opportunities with the cast.
