Conway Regional Health System and the state Department of Health will host “Getting Ready for Baby,” a free baby safety class, beginning at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, in the Conway Regional Women’s Center.

The class is designed to teach expectant mothers and new moms with babies six months of age or younger how to keep their babies safe in their vehicles or at home. The mothers will also receive home safety items and their names will be placed in a drawing for a new car safety seat.

The class is sponsored by the Great Start Lactation Club, which meets the fourth Saturday of each month at 10 am in the Women’s Center. The club provides free support for moms who are breastfeeding or who plan to breastfeed.
