The inaugural Advocates for Autism’s Autism Awareness 5K will be held Saturday, April 1, at Beebe High School, 1201 W. Center St.

The theme is “Taking Steps Today for Acceptance Tomorrow.”

The race kicksoff a full day of activities, including an honorary walk, a “man pageant” and a balloon release.

The early registration fee for the 5K is $35.
