26 Jan 2015 Auditions planned for Center on the Square's production of 'To Kill a Mockingbird'

Center on the Square in Searcy will produce Christopher Sergel’s adaptation of Harper Lee’s "To Kill a Mockingbird" in April, with auditions planned in February.

The cast requires at least nine men, five women and three children. Organizers would like to have understudies and townspeople as well. The cast and the townspeople will have roles for African-American men and women.

Auditions will be at Center on the Square on the following dates: 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 8; 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 14; and 6 p.m. Monday, Feb. 16 at 6:00 p.m.  

Performance dates will be from Friday, April 10, through Sunday, April 19.
