07 Apr 2025 ASU-Beebe Theatre to Present ‘The Patchwork Girl of Oz’
BEEBE — The Arkansas State University-Beebe theatre department will present their original adaptation of “The Patchwork Girl of Oz” on April 24-27 in the Owen Center theater, located at 1102 West College Street on the Beebe campus.

Show times will be 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 24, and Friday, April 25, and at 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 26, and Sunday, April 27, under the direction of Ryan Gibbons and Hope Hargrove. Tickets are priced at $5 per person. Reservations may be made online at: asub.ticketleap.com. Doors will open 30 minutes before each showtime.
“The Patchwork Girl of Oz” is a student adaptation of the seventh book in L. Frank Baum’s Oz series. Characters include Ojo “the Unlucky,” Unc Nunkie, The Crooked Magician, Dr. Pipt, The Patchwork Girl and some animal called the Woozy, alongside some fan favorites such as Dorothy, The Scarecrow and The Tin Woodsman.
