13 Jan 2025 Arkansas Women in Power announces board officers
LITTLE ROCK — Arkansas Women in Power (AWIP), a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing women in the energy sector, has announced its board of director officers for 2025.
Crystal Kemp, Chief Marketing Officer at Conway Corp, will serve as President. Angela Sartori, Senior Regulatory Relations Analyst at Southwest Power Pool, has been elected Vice President. The organization’s Secretary position will be filled by Lori Jones of Arkansas Electric Cooperatives Corporation, while Debbie Brooks, Lead Accountant at Southwest Power Pool, will serve as Treasurer.
Additional leadership positions include Wendy Clark, Regional Supervisor of Regulatory Affairs at Summit Utilities, who will serve as Membership Chairperson. Kandi Hughes, Senior Corporate Counsel at MISO, will continue her service as Immediate Past President.
Founded in 2013 by a group of dedicated Arkansas energy professionals, AWIP focuses on recruiting, promoting, and maintaining women in the natural gas, electric and other energy sectors through networking and mentoring opportunities.
The organization continues to build upon its decade-long legacy of supporting women in Arkansas’ energy industry through professional development and industry connections.
