On July 15, the Arkansas Martin Luther King Jr. Commission’s executive director, DuShun Scarbrough, Sr., led a special halftime King legacy recognition ceremony  at the NBA Summer League.


Scarbrough honored Warren LeGarie, executive director and co-founder of the NBA Summer League; Albert Hall, co-founder and president of HallPass Media; and Carole Hattar, director of community relations. 

The presentation celebrated their impact in building a global sports platform that aligns with the commission’s mission to inspire, uplift and engage communities through service, leadership and opportunity. Media mogul and coach, Percy “Master P” Miller, assisted with the presentation.
