Argenta Downtown Council donates event proceeds to animal shelter

NORTH LITTLE ROCK — The Argenta Downtown Council (ADC) is thrilled to announce the success of their recent fundraiser, Argenta Fright Night, which took place on Oct. 31.

Following the event, ADC presented a portion of the proceeds to the North Little Rock Animal Shelter. Thanks to the incredible generosity of the community members, sponsors, and volunteers, ADC was able to donate $750 to North Little Rock Friends of the Animals. Sponsors of the event included: Taggart Architects, Arvest Bank, Clark Construction and Haney Construction.

Adam Tindall, NLR Animal Shelter Director, and Diana New, Argenta Downtown Council Board Member.

“We are so grateful to the community for their support of our efforts and events which allows us to contribute to the shelter, impacting the lives of deserving animals,” ADC Board Member Diana New said.

The Halloween event, hosted at E.O. Manees House, featured a variety of festive activities, including a costume contest, themed refreshments and music provided by Xavier Riley.

Attendees were not only treated to a fun night out, but also had the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of local animals in need.

“Funding like this helps us continue our efforts in being able to help the animals we find in deplorable physical and medical conditions and bring them back to a level where the animal has an opportunity to be adopted,” said NLR Animal Shelter Director Adam Tindall.

Save the date for the next “Argenta Fright Night” scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 26. For more information about Argenta Downtown Council and future events, please visitargentaartsdistrict.org.
