The Aquakids Swim Team, a competitive, year-round swimming program in Conway for children between the ages of 7 and 18, will hold an open evaluation and informational meeting for swimmers interested in joining the team.
The meetings will be held 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 11, and Thursday, Sept. 13, at the Hendrix College Wellness and Athletic Center swimming pool.
At the evaluation, each child will be asked to swim a few lengths of the pool. The evaluation is not a try-out; it is simply an opportunity to evaluate each child’s current swimming ability in order to place the child at the appropriate practice level.
Parents with children interested in swimming with the Aquakids during the upcoming season should have their child attend one of the evaluations.
