Toca Boca is one brand, but they have more than 25 apps to choose from and enjoy. The apps range in price from free to $2.99. Toca Boca is all about 21st century benefits of pure play. They encourage creativity, collaboration and problem solving. There are no timers, no scores and the only goal is to play.

The Toca Boca team is made up of experienced play designers, artists, programmers and marketers, and they’ve been creating apps since 2011. Kids are encouraged to “get cooking” with the Toca Kitchen app. They can even create a whole world with blocks in the Toca Builder app. Other apps include Toca Doctor, Toca Hair Salon and Toca Band. Those are just a few of the ways your kids can use their imagination. Toca Boca offers 26 highly creative and playful apps.

My only concern is the price. For one app, $2.99 is not too much to ask. However, if your kids really like Toca Boca apps and want to try more, the price really adds up. The plus side is that several apps are also free, so you can encourage your children to play with the free apps and only buy one every now and then or when you find them on sale.
