App of the Month: Knoala helps parents with daily activities for kids

by Brittany Gilbert

Knoala – Baby & Kids Activities
Free in the App Store

Knoala’s slogan is “Raise Happier Kids.” They promise thousands of activities that are both “fun and development-boosting” for infants to preschoolers.

When you sign up, you can save information about your children and Knoala will send activities based on your children’s ages. You can filter activities to different settings such as indoors, outdoors, bath time, etc., and whatever materials you have available. The app can even pull local weather information and adjust activities accordingly.

Maybe you would like more activities to support cognitive development and if so, Knoala can provide these as well. In fact, each activity it sends you will have which area of development is focused on. There is an option to provide pictures of you and your children engaged in said activity, and it will show other members and pictures submitted.

Good

  • It’s free, and according to the website, it always will be
  • Effortlessly switch between which child you would like an activity for
  • Includes which materials are needed as well as setting and area of development that will be focused on
  • Much easier than Pinterest and is more organized

I have yet to find anything I don’t like about Knoala. I highly recommend this app to any parent with infant to preschool-aged children.
