Antique Auto Enthusiasts return to Petit Jean

Antique Auto Enthusiasts will soon return to Petit Jean Mountain for the 21st Annual Fall Antique Auto Swap Meet, Wednesday, Sept. 19, through Saturday, Sept. 22, at the Museum of Automobiles.

Featured will be antique, classic and special interest automobiles for sale. In addition, more than 250 spaces will be filled with parts, supplies, books, memorabilia and numerous other hobby-related items.

The Swap Meet starts on Wednesday, Sept. 19. All activities are open to the public and admission is free. Proceeds of this event go to support The Museum of Automobiles, a non-profit, tax-exempt organization.

An added attraction is an “Open Car Show” that will be held 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday Sept. 22. There will be classes for virtually any vehicle made. Registration is $20 per car.

The Military Vehicle Rally will be bigger and better. More than 50 restored vehicles of all sizes will be on display. Also, driving and individual activities will be conducted Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
