Annual Kyle Allison Golf Classic scheduled June 29 in Conway

The Second Annual Kyle Allison Golf Classic will be held Monday, June 29, at the Conway Country Club.

All proceeds will benefit the ongoing operations and special projects at Renewal Ranch, a faith-based and Christ-centered program for men 21 years of age and older who are struggling with substance abuse issues. Although the exact duration for each man is based on his personal spiritual growth, residents go through three phases during the program, including Phase 1, Transition Phase and Phase 2. During this time, residents will be given an opportunity to develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Through this relationship, they can find freedom from the chains of addiction, forgiveness from their past, and hope for their future.

The golf tournament is planned 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., with a morning and afternoon flight.

The Renewal Ranch Golf Classic was renamed in 2019 in memory of Kyle Allison, who went to be with his Savior in July 2018 after touching many lives with his story. The son of the late Walter Allison and Debbie Allison, Kyle was a lifelong Conway resident. His love for Renewal Ranch was evidenced by his tireless efforts to support and promote the ministry through his marketing and fund-raising position. Kyle was devoted to the staff and men at the Ranch, but his greatest love was for his Lord and Savior, which he was quick to share with others. Kyle was easy to love and had a personal investment in so many. Kyle was a friend to the lonely and a true testament of God’s unconditional love.

The Renewal Ranch Golf Classic was Kyle’s favorite event.

Support of the golf classic will celebrate his life and support the ministry that was so close to his heart.

Sponsors are being sought for the event.
