21 Mar 2022 Annual Energy Smart Poster, Essay and Video Contest underway

It’s time for the ninth annual Energy Smart Poster, Essay and Video Contest! Students, let us know how you use electric, water, cable, internet, telephone or security in your day-to-day life. 

The poster contest is open to students PreK-4th grade in Conway. Students should use their imagination to create a drawing colored with crayons, markers, colored pencils or paints to illustrate the 2022 contest theme, “My Life, Powered by Conway Corp.” Entries will be judged on creativity and theme representation.

The essay and video contest is open to students 5th-12th grade in Conway. Students should submit a typed essay of 500 to 1,000 words or a digital video between 30 seconds and two minutes on the 2022 contest theme, “My Life, Powered by Conway Corp.” Essay entries will be judged on content and syntax. Video entries will be judged on creativity and production.

Entries must be shared via Google Docs or emailed by Monday, April 18, 2022. 

Artwork can be submitted at 650 Locust or by scanning or taking a photograph. Please put “2022 Energy Smart Contest” in the subject line.

Winners will be notified by June 2022, and cash prizes will be awarded in multiple age categories: PreK-4th, 5th-7th and 8th-12th grade.
