23 Jul 2017 Alzheimer’s Arkansas plans Hope for the Future workshop

Alzheimer’s Arkansas will present the Faulkner County Hope for the Future Workshop 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday, July 28, at Brewer-Hegeman Conference Center at the University of Central Arkansas.

The event is designed as an educational workshop that provides information for caregivers on how to care for those with Alzheimer’s or any form of dementia. It will include professional speakers from the fields of medicine, law, nutrition and exercise who will address important issues that caregivers face daily.

The half-day or full-day seminar includes breakfast, lunch and other amenities at no cost to the caregiver. Financial assistance is available for respite care.

Continued Education Units are available for a small fee.
