09 Dec 2012 A&J Collision sponsors 'Hit a Deer Get a Turkey Campaign'
The “Hit a Deer Get a Turkey Campaign” sponsored by A&J Collision will continue through Friday, Dec. 14.
Drivers who have had a run in with a deer and then have their vehicles repaired at A&J will receive a turkey from A&J at the end of the repair.
The campaign is not just about repairing vehicles but about helping families in the community during the holidays. At 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 14, A&J will donate no less than 50 turkeys to Soul Food Café. The ministry has fed 24,421 individuals as of Sept. 31.
“This will help the Soul Food Café assist families that need their help,” said A&J owner Jody Gatchell. “This is just one way that we can give back to our community during the holidays.”
Gatchell has a personal goal of 150 turkeys to donate.
“The good thing is that we are already a third of the way there with my business commitment,” he said. “Together, with the help of every business, no one shall go hungry during the holiday season.”
