It is the third year in a row that Matty Bianchi has earned Scholar All-American status, and the second time that Stephen Little and Nasir Bailey have collected the recognition. Bianchi and Little add the academic awards to their NCAA All-American accolades earned at the NCAA Tournament this season.

Joseph Bianchi and Austin Keal conclude their Trojan careers at the top of their class, while Brennan Van Hoecke and Brock DelSignore collect the honor with future possibilities on the line as returning members of the Little Rock starting lineup.

NWCA Executive Director Mike Moyer applauded these outstanding athletes for their unwavering commitment and excellence both on and off the wrestling mat, saying, “It is a privilege to honor these exceptional athletes for their remarkable accomplishments. Congratulations to all the awardees, and we extend our best wishes for their continued success in their academic and athletic endeavors.”

Several wrestlers across the nation were honored this year for their outstanding achievements, but the Trojans lead the Pac-12 with seven, followed by five from CSU-Bakersfield, four from Oregon State, and two hailing from Cal Poly. View the full list here.
