501 teams headed to state finals

Several teams from the 501 are headed to state championship games this week at the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville.

BASEBALL
The Conway High Wampus Cat Baseball Team will play Bentonville at 3 p.m. Friday in the 7A final.

In the 6A final, Benton will play Sheridan at 3 p.m. Saturday.

In Class 3A, the Mayflower Eagle Baseball Team will play 10 a.m. Saturday against Fordyce.

In the 2A final, Magnet Cove will face off against Ouachita at 5:30 p.m. Friday.

SOFTBALL
The Cabot Lady Panthers Softball Team will play North Little Rock in the 7A state final at 10 a.m. Friday.

In the 5A final, Vilonia will play Paragould at 12:30 p.m. Friday.

In the 4A final, Mena and Bauxite will play 3 p.m. Friday.

In the 3A final, Harding Academy will compete against Bald Knob at 5:30 p.m. Friday.

SOCCER
In 7A girls soccer, Bryant will play Fayetteville in the finals 2 p.m. Saturday. In 6A, the Searcy girls will play Siloam Springs 10 a.m. Saturday.

Both the Central Arkansas Christian girls and boys soccer teams are in the 4A finals. The girls will play 10 a.m. Friday against Gentry. The CAC boys will play Danville noon Friday.
