Clouds obscured the latest “super moon” but produced a beautiful sunset at Lawrence Landing.
“(My wife) Crystal and I went to try and get a shot of the moon through the trees that are in the lake, but clouds were on the horizon,” said 501 LIFE Photographer Mike Kemp. “This one in particular looked like it could spawn a thunderstorm, but as the sun began to set it turned it beautiful shades of orange and pink, and it became more interesting than waiting on the moon.”
