Greenbrier got its revenge in this year’s First Service Cup, beating Vilonia, 48-35, in the annual Faulkner County rivalry.
The Week 10 win sealed a perfect regular season for the Panthers, who lost at Vilonia in 2011.
Both Greenbrier and Vilonia were playoff bound after the First Service Cup — the Eagles fell in the first round at Pulaski Academy, while the Panthers’ season came to an end in the 5A quarterfinal round against Batesville.
The future continues to burn bright for both programs.
