07 Dec 2016 501 Basketball Team announced for 2017
501 LIFE is excited to announce the 2017 edition of its 501 Basketball Team. The team boasts 34 honorees, including the best student-athletes the 501 has to offer — both on and off the court. The team, sponsored by First Service Bank and First Security Bank, is made up of male and female athletes.
“Every year we are privileged to share stories about these high-impact student-athletes, and this year is no different,” said Levi Gilbert, associate editor. “This year’s team includes a number of state champions, including a three-time winner in Nemo Vista’s Maggie Mahan. I expect we’ll see some more rings added to players from this year’s 501 Basketball Team.
“There’s a wealth of talent represented on this team, but more importantly, all of these student-athletes are champions off the court in their schools and communities.”
2017 team members include:
Gracey Acre (Guy-Perkins), David Beck (St. Joseph), David Belvardi (Conway Christian), Garrison Branscum (Perryville), Amber Briggler (St. Joseph), Kaliyah Brooks (Morrilton), Allie Brown (Searcy), Maggie Bush (Cabot), Kira Cartwright (Riverview), Jahcoree Ealy (Guy-Perkins), Adrianna Ferrand (Conway Christian), Garret Finley (Riverview), Victoria Gerbholz (Faulkner Co.
