#21 Razorbacks pull away in the end

FAYETTEVILLE — Central Ark. (1-2) fell to Arkansas (2-1) 93-56 on Tuesday at Bud Walton Arena, as Arkansas, ranked #21 in the country, used a strong second-half performance to widen their lead.


Camren Hunter opened the scoring for the Bears with a layup at 19:05. Despite trailing, the Bears made a run near the end of the half, highlighted by a 3-pointer from Ty Robinson at 0:42, he was fouled on the play made the free throw for the 4 point play, cutting into the deficit. 

However, Arkansas held the lead throughout, finishing the first half ahead 43–34. Central Ark. faced a challenging second half as Arkansas took control early. 

Despite a strong effort from Hunter, who contributed with a layup at 8:25 and two free throws at 13:23, Central Ark. struggled to keep pace. Luke Moore added a fast break three-point play at 8:18, but Arkansas maintained their momentum with a series of 3-pointers and layups to extend their lead. 

The half concluded with Arkansas outscoring Central Ark. 50–22, leading to a final score of 93–56.
