CONWAY — The 19th annual Chase Race & Paws event will be held Saturday, March 9, at Simon Park in downtown Conway. There is a 2-mile walk/run and a 1-mile race for people and their leashed pets. This is a fundraiser that benefits Compass Academy.

Join the fun and register now at Chase Race and Paws (runsignup.com). Registration continues until 7:40 a.m. for the first race and until 8:30 a.m. for the race with leashed pets. Participants are invited to wear costumes and to dress up pets. 

All participants will receive a T-shirt, medal and goodie bag. Trophies will be given to the top five winners in each age category.Chase Race and Paws was founded by the late Don Potter to honor the life of his son. Potter trained the current Director, Courtney Williams. She is also the director of Compass Academy.
