06 Feb 2013 1973 state champs to be honored
The Morrilton Area Chamber of Commerce will host a welcome reception for the 40th Anniversary Morrilton High School 1973 Basketball State Champions from noon to 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 8, in the Chamber lobby.
The team will also be honored with a recognition dinner at 5 p.m. at the Morrilton High School cafeteria and a special recognition presentation at 7 p.m. by Dr. Annette Henderson, superintendent of the South Conway County School District, and Wadie Moore from the Arkansas Activities Association during the Morrilton Senior High games as the teams take on Alma.
