The free event includes local entertainment, free food, fireworks, an apple pie bake-off and a watermelon-eating contest. The fireworks will be synchronized to a musical tribute honoring those who are or have served in all branches of the military. Attendees are welcome to bring blankets, folding chairs, picnic baskets and coolers to the family-friendly celebration.
