Annual golf tournament on Sept. 21 to raise funds for Searcy KLIFE

Searcy KLIFE will host its ninth annual golf tournament on Friday, Sept. 21.

The four-man scramble will take place at the Searcy Country Club, 2729 W. Country Club Road, with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. and lunch immediately following the tournament.

“Our KLIFE organization thrives on community support, and this golf tournament is key to helping us raise funds to operate,” said KLIFE Board President Richard Stafford. “This event gives us a chance to recognize local partners and share great stories about youth enjoying KLIFE.”

Stafford said the goal is provide a positive, loving environment for middle school through senior high students. “Learning to cope with life can be hard as a young person, so we want to provide a safe place for youth to learn about God’s love for them, form healthy friendships and have fun.”

Searcy KLIFE is a non-denominational Christian ministry offering discipleship and fellowship for local youth. Activities include weekly meetings, small-group Bible studies, monthly events, mission trips and one-on-one mentoring.
